A few ground rules for using Pudu and sharing space with others.
About these Terms
These Terms govern your use of Pudu’s website, desktop and mobile apps, including chats, Clubs, media and calls. Pudu is operated by The Orb Company in India. Contact Nikhil Kumar (Nik) at [email protected]. By creating an account or using Pudu, you agree to these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.
Who can use Pudu
You must be at least 16, meet any higher local minimum age and be legally permitted to use the service. If you are under 18 or cannot enter this agreement yourself, your parent or legal guardian must review and authorize your use and agree to these Terms on your behalf where legally permitted. Any legally required verified parental consent must be arranged before use; contact [email protected]. You may not use Pudu if applicable law or a restriction on your account prohibits it.
Your account and beta access
Use an email you control, provide accurate account information and keep your password and verification codes private. You are responsible for how you use your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Beta access is by approval. Joining the waitlist does not promise approval, a release date or a permanent place in the service. Do not sell, share or transfer accounts or evade access restrictions. Usernames and badges do not establish someone’s legal identity.
Use Pudu responsibly
You must not use Pudu to:
- Break the law, threaten people, harass, exploit or abuse anyone, or promote violence.
- Share child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate content, or content that infringes someone’s privacy or intellectual-property rights.
- Impersonate others, deceive people, distribute malware, run scams or send spam.
- Access private accounts or channels without permission, scrape private information, bypass limits, exploit vulnerabilities or disrupt the service.
- Upload or share material you do not have the right to use, including screen or audio content belonging to others.
Club rules can add requirements for that Club but cannot override these Terms. Report abuse through available in-app controls or email [email protected]. Pudu is not an emergency service; contact local emergency services if someone is in immediate danger.
Your content and other people
You keep your rights in content you submit. You give Pudu a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit and display that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure and provide the service, including to the people you choose to share it with. This includes using infrastructure providers to deliver those features.
You are responsible for your content and for obtaining necessary permissions. This license ends when the content is deleted from our systems, except where continued retention is necessary under our Privacy Policy or law. Other people may retain copies they received.
We do not endorse user content or guarantee that people, links or files are safe. Club owners can manage their communities within the available controls. Get appropriate permission before recording or redistributing a conversation or call.
A service still in beta
Pudu is actively being tested. Features, compatibility, availability and usage limits may change; bugs, interruptions and loss of data can occur. Keep your own copies of important information. We may restrict uploads, calls or other activity to protect the service and manage resources.
Pudu is not intended for emergency communications or situations where failure could cause injury or serious harm. We do not promise uninterrupted delivery, perfect call quality or permanent availability of a beta feature. The price and applicable payment terms for any paid feature are shown before purchase.
Plans, payments and cancellation
When you purchase a paid plan, checkout shows the plan, billing interval, currency, total, applicable taxes and renewal terms before you confirm. A recurring subscription renews for the displayed interval until canceled. For purchases sold by Paddle, Paddle is the merchant of record and its Buyer Terms also apply.
The payer can turn off renewal using the available billing controls or the provider’s subscription-management link. Cancellation ordinarily stops the next renewal and leaves access through the confirmed paid-through date, unless a refund, reversal or another lawful restriction changes coverage. Signing out, uninstalling Pudu or leaving a Club does not itself cancel a subscription. Contact [email protected] if you cannot access billing.
Paying for Club Plus benefits one Club. Sponsoring a Club does not grant ownership or management permissions, and owner approval alone does not take payment. The payer manages their subscription; owners and other members cannot view that payer’s private billing controls.
Refund requests and cancellation are separate. Our Refunds and Cancellation Policy explains how to request help and preserves any mandatory consumer rights. We will communicate material changes to paid terms as required; beta wording does not remove rights relating to a paid purchase.
Apps, updates and third parties
You may use Pudu’s software for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms and applicable law. Pudu’s branding and software remain the property of their owners; open-source components retain their own licenses. These Terms do not limit rights granted by those licenses.
Apps may check for and offer updates. Installation and restart behavior depend on the platform and your choices. External links, media providers, app stores and embedded support services may have their own terms. Their inclusion does not mean we control or endorse everything they provide.
Restrictions and ending use
You can stop using Pudu at any time and request account deletion at [email protected]. Leaving a Club or signing out does not itself delete your account.
We may remove content or restrict, suspend or end access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, a breach of these Terms, a security risk, legal requirements or closure of the beta. Where appropriate and lawful, we will explain the action and allow you to contact us to request a review. Urgent safety or security issues may require action first.
Responsibility and your legal rights
To the extent permitted by law, Pudu is provided as available without additional promises or warranties beyond those stated in these Terms. We are not responsible for user conduct or third-party services outside our control, and we exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses where law allows.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including for fraud, or takes away mandatory consumer, privacy or other statutory rights. You remain responsible for harm caused by your unlawful use of Pudu.
Disagreements and applicable law
Please contact [email protected] first so we can try to resolve an issue. These Terms are governed by Indian law, except where mandatory laws where you live require otherwise. Any dispute may be brought before a court with lawful jurisdiction; nothing here removes rights to use a consumer forum, regulator or other remedy available under applicable law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Pudu evolves. We will update the date above and provide appropriate notice of material changes. Where law requires fresh agreement or consent, we will ask for it. If you do not agree to updated Terms, stop using Pudu and contact us about your account. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
